As this role is taken on, I am deeply aware of the responsibility and privilege entrusted to me by our esteemed members. Our field encompasses a diverse range of subspecialties. We play a pivotal role in healthcare, touching the lives of millions. As members of our esteemed association, we shall be united by our commitment to excellence in healthcare, advancement in medical research, and advocacy for the well-being of our patients and communities. The National EC is committed to encouraging all the academic and practice-oriented activities that have been ongoing for many years.

While IADVL Academy of Dermatology has taken several steps to enhance the its corners stones namely educate, update and grant, we are committed to an “IADVL beyond academics." We have launched a task force that caters to the holistic health of the members and their family. We are engaged in “IADVL brand building," for which we have empowered the media cell. Community dermatology activities will take a new height with the launch of the awareness program for schoolchildren and adolescents, namely. We will upgrade our website with more features, including enhanced contents in the patient area with patient support groups. We shall also use the website to connect with each other by constantly being updated and connected. We will have more IADVL sessions at the international congresses, and support the members with scholarships to attend them. We will also enhance government liaison to address several issues related to our association and patient community.

We will ensure that our communication channels are open, transparent, and easily accessible to all members. I look forward to our members continued support for the growth of IADVL.
