Announcement inviting applications for PG Thesis-based Award (oral and e-poster) session at MIDDERMACON 2025 (Surat, Gujarat)

Dear Young IADVL Colleagues,
Namaste IADVL!
A postgraduate Thesis-Based Award Session (oral and e-poster) will take place at MIDDERMACON 2025, to be held at Surat, Gujarat, on September 19-21, 2025.
Eligibility: The thesis-based award session (oral and e-poster) will be open to all postgraduates who would have appeared for their exam by the last date of abstract submission (in this case 31st May 2025) or have cleared the exam in the preceding 2 years (after 31st May 2023).
The application must be forwarded by the Chief guide/supervisor of the postgraduate. It is mandatory for the PG student to himself/ herself present the paper or poster. Pre-registration for the conference will be mandatory for the postgraduates whose abstract is selected for this session.
Awards: This oral presentation session has three awards, and the winners (both the chief guide and postgraduate) will receive a certificate and Rs 10000, 8000, and 5000 each for the first, second, and third prizes, respectively. The e-poster session has three awards, and the winners (both the chief guide and post-graduate) will receive a certificate and Rs 5000, 4000, and 3000 each for the first, second, and third prizes, respectively
Please note- The thesis or any part of the thesis should not have been presented in MIDDERMACON or DERMACON before and should not have received any national award from IADVL.
For preparation of the abstract, please refer to the accompanying instructions. The candidates are also required to submit an ethical clearance certificate from the Institutional Ethics Committee. An undertaking that the proposed thesis is their original study plan and no conflicts of interest has to be signed by the applicant, guide, and co-guide (if applicable) and submitted (sample format attached). Any applicant selected in this category, will not be considered for free or award paper or e-poster in the same conference.
The IADVL Academy members shall carry out the evaluation with a pre-structured evaluation sheet. The selected participants and category of presentation (oral or e-poster) will be communicated to the applicants.
