IADVL Scholarships for AAD 2026 – Denver, Colorado, USA

Dear IADVL Members, Namaste IADVL!

 

We are pleased to announce the availability of the following scholarships for IADVL members to attend the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) annual meeting 2026, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, from March 27 to 31, 2026.

 

Scholarships Available:

 

2026 AAD Annual Meeting Registration Reciprocal Scholarships (Two)

The scholarship includes complimentary meeting registration

Invitation to the International Scholarship Reception & Dinner

$1,000 stipend delivered at the meeting

 

Strauss and Katz World Congress Fund Scholarship (Two)

The scholarship includes complimentary meeting registration

A stipend ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 based on travel costs to the United States

Admission to one ticketed half-day course

Invitations to attend the International Scholarship Recipient Reception and Dinner as well as the International Member Reception

 

Eligibility Criteria AAD Annual Meeting Registration Reciprocal Scholarships

Applicants under 40 years should not have received an IADVL scholarship for attending an international conference at any time in the past.

Applicants aged 40 years or above must not have received any IADVL scholarship for attending an international conference in the last 5 years.

 

Eligibility Criteria Strauss and Katz World Congress Fund Scholarship:

Abstract must be submitted with application – Selected applicants must present a paper/poster at AAD 2026. Please follow AAD 2026 abstract preparation guidelines.

 

Only nationals of developing countries are eligible.

Resident (postgraduate student) in dermatology or within three years of completing dermatology residency training at the meeting time.

The applicant must not have received an international IADVL or in-person AAD scholarship

 

Important notes:

The applicant must be a Bonafide member (PLM/LM) of IADVL.

If you are currently a PG trainee, include a letter from the Head of the Department confirming this status.

No deferrals permitted.

Please know the wait times for U.S. Embassy or Consulate visa appointments before applying. Preference will be given to those with a valid US VISA

Selected candidates (2/category) will receive a link to apply, and an endorsement letter provided by IADVL should be uploaded to the website by the due date notified later.

Must not be fully funded by other sources (e.g., conference organizers, state branches, government, ICMR, pharmaceutical companies, or institutions).

 

Those who have previously received an IADVL fellowship or observership are eligible to apply.AAD makes the final selection. The World Congress Fund Review Task Force will review eligible applications and award scholarships based on merit and available funding. Certificate from HOD for PG Trainees

MD/DNB Passing Certificate for those completed Dermatology Residency

 

Brief CV, including conference presentations/participation, Awards/Honours, and a list of publications (1st/2nd & corresponding author will be preferred) - (single pdf)

Application Opens: July 1st 2025

Application Closes: July 15th, 2025

Outcome likely to be announced by 15 August 2025
