Call for Applications: Dr. B. V. Satyanarayana Memorial Best Thesis Award 2024 –

Dear IADVL Members,
Greetings!
On behalf of the IADVL EC and IADVL Academy, we are pleased to invite applications for the Thesis-based - Dr. B. V. Satyanarayana Memorial Award 2024. IADVL members (PLM/LM) who have successfully cleared their MD/DNB (Dermatology) examinations during the last one year (from the date of this announcement) are eligible to apply including those who are scheduled to appear in MD/DNB examination in December 2024 and have submitted their thesis.
The application should be accompanied by a recommendation from the Chief Guide that also certifies the authenticity of the work done and the time frame in which the study was completed. One Chief Guide can recommend only 1 best thesis from a given batch.
Applications must be uploaded in the standard format (attached Application Form 1 and 2) and must be accompanied by SYNOPSIS OF THE THESIS/DISSERTATION (in PDF format) with a copy of the approval letter of the Institutional Review Board/Ethics Committee/Academic Committee clearing the study proposal. The attached synopsis should not have identifiers like name of the guide, institution or city. The presence of identifiers will lead to disqualification.
All applications must be uploaded on ACADEMY CENTRAL on or before 30th September 2024

1) Application form 1. 2) Application form 2 in pdf (should be blinded).
Application 1 includes IRB/ Ethics approval and a letter of recommendation from the guide certifying the authenticity and TIME FRAME of work done in pdf.
