Call for Applications: Editors - IADVL (Academy)
Textbooks
Dear IADVL members
The
IADVL EC & Academy intend to publish two Textbooks as
a Presidential project (2024).
1. Dermatoses in skin of Color
2. IADVL Textbook of Pediatric Dermatology
We are pleased to invite applications from IADVL Life Members for the
posts of Editors for each Textbook.
1. Chief Editor – 1
2. Associate Editors – 2
3. Assistant Editors – 2
Note:
1.
Post MD Experience required: 15 years or
more for Chief Editor, 10 years or more for Associate Editor and 5 years or
more for Assistant Editor.
2.
IADVL EC & Academy Chair/Conveners
and members are not eligible to apply.
The Editorial Board of each textbook will be responsible for preparing
the updated table of contents and following up with the selected authors to
ensure timely submission, editing and reviewing the content in consultation
with the IADVL Academy /EC and Publisher.
An editorial search committee, consisting of Dr Manjunath Shenoy
(President, IADVL), Dr Rajeev Sharma (President Elect), Dr Vijay Zawar
(Immediate Past President, IADVL), Dr Sunil Dogra (Chairperson, IADVL Academy),
Dr Nilay Kanti Das (Convener, IADVL Academy), Dr Archana Singal (Editor,
IJDVL), Dr Seetharam K (Editor, IDOJ) and Bhumesh Kumar Katakam (Honorary
Secretary General) will select the Editorial Board based on their CV and
experience in the given subject (by way of publications, particularly original
articles on the topic) and in writing or editing books or journals.
