Greetings
IADVL EC and Academy are pleased to bring to you the
digital histopathology slides initiative. This digital slide library has been
brought to you with the efforts of SIG Dermatopathology under the leadership of
Dr Meghana Phiske (Coordinator) and Dr Geeti Khullar (Convener).
The 20 digital slides have been available since last
year, this year We have added 20 more slides keeping in view the needs to the
post graduate students. Please note the change in login details for 2023.
Instructions for viewing the scanned slides
1. Open the slides in
Google Chrome only.
2. Link for viewing the slides: www.digiscan.in
3. Log in with the user name and password
User Name : iadvl2023
Password : iadvl2023
4. After logging
in, a page will open with thumbnails of 20 slides. Arrange the slides in serial
order by clicking on the box “order by name” on the top row of the page (Case
01, Case 02... Case 20).
5. Click on each
thumbnail and a slide will open. The slide can be viewed in different
magnifications by clicking on the required magnification on upper left corner
of the page (2x, 4x….40x).
6. Clinical
history of the case, description of microscopic findings and diagnosis are
provided in the boxes on the right side of each slide.
