mycosis fungoides
Histopathological findings:
Figure 2: Biopsy from the dorsum of hand. Epidermis
shows mild compact hyperkeratosis, mild to moderate acanthosis, upper dermal
moderately dense nodular perivascular lymphocytic infiltrate.
Figure 3: Biopsy from nape of neck shows a dense
lymphocytic infiltrate in a vertical orientation involving upper and mid-dermis
wherein it is in perifollicular location.
Figure 3a: Biopsy from forearm lesion shows atrophic
epidermis. Dermis shows upper and mid-dermal dense diffuse lymphocytic
infiltrate. Few show atypia.
Figure 4: High power of perifollicular infiltrate. Dense lymphocytic infiltrate with few showing nuclear pleomorphism and follicular exocytosis.
