Call for applications for Dr. B.V. Satyanarayana Memorial Award for best thesis- 2021

Dear all,

On behalf of the IADVL EC and IADVL Academy, we are pleased to invite applications for the thesis based Dr. B.V. Satyanarayana Memorial Award 2021.

 All IADVL members (LM/PLM) who have successfully passed their MD/DNB (Dermatology) examinations during the last one year are eligible to apply. Application should be accompanied by a recommendation from the Guide that also certifies the authenticity of the work done and the time frame in which the study was completed. 

Applications must be sent in the standard format (attached Application Form) and must be accompanied by SYNOPSIS OF THE THESIS/DISSERTATION (in PDF format) preferably with a copy of the approval letter of the Institutional Review Board/Ethics Committee/Academic Committee clearing the study proposal. The attached synopsis should not have identifiers like name of the dissertation, guide, institution or city. The scanned copy of Institute Ethics Committee approval is to be sent as a separate attachment to the e-mail.

All applications must be sent by e-mail to the Hon. Secretary General at secretarygeneral@iadvl.org and to the Academy at academy@iadvl.org on or before November 8, 2021.

  Please mention Dr. B. V. Satyanarayana Memorial Award 2021 in the subject line of your e-mail.

The attachments to the e-mail should include

1.     Scanned copy of filled in and properly signed application form (single file)

2.     Scanned copy of Institute Ethics Committee approval (single file)

3.     A copy of synopsis of the thesis/dissertation as .pdf file in the standard format (single file)
