NATIONAL RESIDENT CONNECT COMMITTEE

ESSAY AND POSTER COMPETITION 2019

The IADVL theme of the year 2019 is “Fight the topical steroid misuse”. Keeping in mind the theme of the year, and on recommendation by IADVL President, Dr. P NarasimhaRao, a competition of essay and poster was announced. This was conducted for the residents by National Residents Connect Committee, under the supervision of the chairperson Dr. Umashankar Nagaraju and convener Dr. Preethi B Nayak. Dr. Farhat Fatima and Dr. Priyanka Kargaiah, were appointed as competition coordinators.

Dr. M.Sendhil Kumaran and Dr.Rajetha Damishetty were assigned to judge the essays. 

Dr.Shital Poojary and Dr. K. T. Ashique were assigned to judge the posters. 

It gives us immense pleasure to announce the winner of the year long competition.

Dr. Ratnakar Shukla, a resident of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital, Mumbai is the winner of best essay 

Dr. Rohini Soni, a resident of ESI hospital, New Delhi is the winner of best poster.

Congratulations to the winners! The winners to be awarded in Dermacon 2020 Pune, would be presenting their work during Residents session scheduled at Dermacon 2020 on 1stFebruary from 4:50-5:20pm in Hall C. As a token of encouragement their entries would be published in the upcoming issue of the residents newsletter-Residream(Volume 6; Issue 2).
