Requirements:
Coordinator
o Original work in the field defined by at
least two publications in indexed journals as first or corresponding author in
the relevant field
o Should be active academician with 10 years of
experience as a consultant dermatologist or a teacher in a medical college
(associate professor and above)
Convener
o 7 years experience as an active
academician as a consultant dermatologist or a teacher in a medical college
o Should have at least one publication in a
PUBMED Indexed journal or one chapter in reputed text book or by reputed
publishers or 5 oral presentations in relevant field at State, Zonal or
National level.
Member
o 5 years experience as an active
academician as a consultant dermatologist or a teacher in a medical college
o At least one publication in a PUBMED
Indexed journal or one chapter or 5 oral presentations in relevant field at State,
Zonal or National level
o Should be computer savvy
Responsibilities
o Multicentric
studies and research are the primary role of SIG
o To design
at least 2 research projects within first six months of constitution of SIG.
o To device
standard protocol and IADVL guidelines guidelines and consensus statements when needed for
relevant diseases by the end of tenure.
o Conduction
of seminars, workshops, publication of books conditional to the above
guidelines
o To
prepare Thesis topics and research topics where research work is required in relevant
o To publish e- newsletters, position papers,
journals, monographs and books.
o To prepare patient education materials, such
as posters and brochures.
o To promote community development activities.
o
To
establish contact with similar international groups
Membership
provides an opportunity to play an active role in the development of the
specialty and contribute to the growth of the IADVL. Those who are not members
of other SIGs will be preferred.
